Day 1- Saturday 17 November 2018
For those flying with Battle Honours we depart from London Heathrow on the evening flight to Johannesburg
Day 2 - Sunday 18 November 2018
After landing at Johannesburg, the group will transfer to Newcastle (via a couple of brief historical stops) for an overnight stay, with an overview campaign lecture on arrival

Day 3 - Monday 19 November 2018
Leaving the hotel we head towards Dundee where we walk the Majuba battlefield focussing on the First Boer War 1880-1881 -

Day 4 - Tuesday 20 November 2018
Today we spend the morning studying Isandlwana in detail including Mangeni Falls, before our afternoon is spent following Fugitives' Drift Trail to the graves of Teignmouth Melvill and Nevill Coghill VC -

Day 5 - Wednesday 21 November 2018
Departing Dundee we head south to visit Rorke's Drift in the morning, involving a walk up onto the Oskarberg Ridge. The afternoon we arrive at the Platrand Lodge and walk/drive the battlefield of Wagon Hill (Second Boer War). Overnight Platrand Lodge
Day 6 - Thursday 22 November 2018
Starting with a driver to Three Tree Hill via a private museum in Ladysmith we visit the site where Churchill was captured and the grave of Frederick Roberts VC. We then tour the Colenso battlefield including the loop and Long's Gunsites.

Day 7 - Friday 23 November 2018
An early departure enables us to walk over the battlefields of Spion Kop before breakfast, the remainder of the day is spent exploring the local area including Spearmans Camp/Rangeworthy Cemeteries, or the Mount Alice Memorial offering spectacular views over the battlefield.

Day 8 - Saturday 24 November 2018
Checking out of the hotel we transfer back to Johannesburg (4 hours) with a number of historical spots to break up the journey to arrive for an evening flight back to the UK arriving on the morning of Sunday 25 November
